Assessments

Psychological assessments at TD Psychological & Counselling Services Inc. provide a clear understanding of a person’s unique strengths, challenges, and needs. Our assessments support accurate diagnoses and tailored recommendations, helping guide effective treatment, educational planning, and workplace or personal accommodations. By identifying areas such as learning difficulties, ADHD, autism, or emotional concerns, we equip individuals and families with practical strategies and resources that foster growth, resilience, and long-term success.
Psychoeducational
Psychoeducational assessments evaluate cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and emotional functioning to better understand an individual’s learning profile. These assessments can identify cognitive strengths or difficulties, giftedness, learning challenges, attention and hyperactivity issues, emotional or behavioral concerns. The results provide valuable insights to guide personalized educational planning, supports, and interventions.
These assessments take between 13 - 15 hours.
Note: If parents/caregivers would like behavioral observations to be done either at home, in school, or in the clinic, additional costs are required which can be discussed with Tracy Stevens-Delhez.

Play therapy provides children with a safe and natural way to express feelings they may not have words for, helping them work through emotions such as anxiety, sadness, anger, or trauma. Through guided play, they build coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and healthier ways of communicating with others. This supportive process fosters healing, resilience, and self-confidence, promoting emotional growth and stronger connections at home and in school.
